The Role of The Café as a Business Lab

Although food and drink have traditionally been prohibited in libraries, in recent years, there have been increased joint ventures between learning centers and coffee shops like Starbucks. Although cafés are perceived mostly for social networking and recreational purposes, an increasing number of students are conducting both their formal and informal learning at the cafés. The Frankel Family STEAM Café provides students a place to refuel while they study and work collaboratively.
