Structured Learning Assistance (SLAs)

Structured Learning Assistance (SLA) is a support program working in collaboration with faculty to provide academic support to identified courses with which students traditionally struggle or could use additional support to reach educational objectives. SLAs are micro-lessons (between 30 and 40 minutes) built by and for students to help classmates better understand a specific topic. All SLAs are led by a student coach and 5-10 students may attend each session.
