College Admission Representative Visits:
Ottawa Hills High School is allowing in-person visits by college admission representatives who are vaccinated. Visits may be scheduled between Aug. 30 through Nov. 5 via SCOIR. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org if a virtual visit is preferred. Students in grades 10 through 12 are invited to attend a select number of visits with their colleges of interest. Students are able to view scheduled visits and register to attend through their SCOIR account.
Senior Parent Night for Class of 2022
Parents are invited to join Mrs. Nagy to kick off the college application season Wednesday, Aug. 25, at 6 p.m. Mrs. Nagy will review the information provided during the College Application Boot Camps and explain what is submitted with the students' college admission applications. She will also provide insight and advice about the college application and financial aid process. The format of this parent night will be communicated in early August.
Lourdes University Financial Aid Night
Lourdes University will offer its 15th annual Financial Aid Information Night on Tuesday, Oct. 26, from 6:30-8 p.m. at the Franciscan Center. The event is free and offered to all high school students and their families. Topics include:
- Completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
- Explaining how the prior-prior year process works
- Explanation of the various types of federal and state aid available
- Tips for scholarship searches
- How to compare costs after aid is offered from different schools
