Sandusky Bay Conference

Ottawa Hills Junior and Senior High School Athletics participate in the Sandusky Bay Conference (SBC). Established in 1948, the SBC proudly serves 10 member schools across Eric, Lucas, Ottawa, Sandusky, and Wood counties.

Athletic Director Ryan Wronkowicz explains, "The move to the SBC is an exciting one for Green Bear Nation. We will reunite with some previous rivals that were opponents of ours in the TAAC. The SBC is a highly competitive conference that will challenge us moving forward in a variety of sports. The schools are all similar to us in size, which provides us this unique opportunity to join forces."

Ottawa Hills will field teams on the following SBC sponsored sports: boys and girls cross country, football, boys golf, girls volleyball, boys and girls basketball, boys and girls swimming, baseball, softball, and boys and girls track and field. The Green Bears' field hockey, boys and girls soccer, boys and girls tennis, and boys and girls lacrosse teams will compete as independents, a status unchanged for most of those programs.

Fun Fact: Our very own Jr./Sr. High School social studies teachers and girls varsity soccer coach, Jessica Kozy, created the new SBC logo following a 2026 design contest among member schools!

Ottawa Hills Athletics left the Toledo Area Athletic Conference (TAAC) following the completion of the 2025-26 school year, after being a founding school member since it's inception in 1998.
