  • 1942: Boys' 1941-42 basketball team makes appearance in state tournament. First State appearance by any team in school history.
  • 1956: Football Class “B” State Championship (Voted by AP) First State Championship by any team in school history.
  • 1957: Football defeats St. Francis 21-20 (Oct. 25)
  • 1956: Black Field gets lights
  • 1971: Football team begins 23-game winning streak (Oct. 29, 1971-Sept. 13, 1974).
  • 1986: Boys' basketball District Championship win over Holgate, 48-47 (March 7)
  • 1984: Ice Hockey District runner-up
  • 1995: Girls' softball District runner-up
  • 1998: Football Stadium (Sept. 10) and gym renovated (Dec. 19)
  • 2000: Football’s 1st State Playoff Appearance
  • 2000: Golf State Champion Justin Kruse
  • 2001: Girls' basketball Regional Semi-Finalist
  • 2005: Ottawa Hills Football Stadium renamed Norm Niedermeier Stadium (Sept. 9).
  • 2005: Football wins first State playoff Game (24-20 over Monroeville on Nov. 5)
  • 2009: Katherine Jamieson wins State 300-meter hurdle Champion setting a state record of 43.18
  • 2010: Boys'Basketball State semifinalist
  • 2013: Niedermeier Stadium installs synthetic surface (Mondo Turf)

  • Field hockey: 1992, 1993 (only back-to-back State championships by any team in school history), 1998
  • Baseball: 1986 (An 8-7 win over Sidney Lehman. Green Bears score four runs in bottom of 11th (June 7).
